Rel-Tek's latest installation Compass Minerals. Six remote, wall-mount terminals soon be installed as part of a gas detection system for a Cote Blanche, LA customer's offices for use in both above ground and underground operations. The installation is considered hazardous, so optical fibers were used to transmit the DX-Bus data communications throughout. The terminals are 22" touch screens, connected to the central computer via a LAN. Super easy to use, anyone can view the entire gas detection system, from wherever the LAN extends. Any quantity is possible.

This is a critical system to the mine as they need it 24/7 to sustain operations. The Millennia-FT operating system processes data at the rate of 120 sensors per second... with no errors.
